Desert Scale & Weighing Equipment, Inc is pleased to be the Arizona distributor of First Weigh Manufacturing Truck Scales. The VE series truck scales will provide years of dependable service. Designed and built to be tough, strong and rugged to withstand the stresses of rigorous use in harsh environments. The heart of the VE series is the heavy duty LC-32 double ended shear beam load cells. Each 50,000 pound capacity class IIIL, Tool steel load cell is nickel plated, waterproofed and designed for years of rugged use. To make maintenance simple and effortless. A removable access plate over each load cell makes it easy to clean out debris. Load cells can be easily removed. The VE series truck scales can be supplied with the checked steel deck plate or ready to pour concrete decks. Optional bolt on side rails also available. Standard capacities range from 30 ton to 100 ton, sizes available are 10’ x 11 to 120’ x 11’. All First Weigh truck scales are backed by a two year limited warranty. Lightning/water damage included. Also available are three additional designs: The PC option, Portable Contractor Scale. A full electronic truck scale shipped factory assembled with the load cells, load cell stands, and bumper assemblies. Install on any firm, flat surface. Concrete foundation or footings not required. Just 17 inches high, each scale is modular with full under frame and steel construction. Only minimum wiring is needed. Modules can be connected in just minutes. The PA option, Shipped preassembled. Speeds up scale installations. Shipped with load cells, load cell stands, and bumper checks pre-installed. The PA simplifies foundation construction. Pour flat piers with approaches, set the modules and bolt down. It quick, its easy and it saves money and time. The HD option, Heavy Duty. The HD option meets the rigid heavy duty requirements of the coal, steel and rock quarry industries. The steel weight of the scale is increased over 30% of the standard VE series, with heavier under structure and a full 3/8 “ thick deck plate. It accommodates up to 50 ton tandem axle loading for off road vehicles. The HD option carries the standard full two year warranty.
